Heavy tooling maintenance and repairs to existing tools, dies and fixtures. Supports all tool room initiatives from machining, fabricating as well as production support from a tooling service level standpoint. Safely set-up and operate all tool room equipment. Must understand basic shop math as well as the use of tool room precision tools. Tooling apprentice to be well versed and involved with die set-ups and change over training for production personnel in the stamping department. Apprentice to also follow die building and repair instructions provide by the toolmakers.
